yep did notice that too, but I give all surfaces a polish and cleaning before actual build.

Got the cylinders machined to fit the headstuds, I think this is the hardest part of machining to get the cylinders to fit the headstuds.

I USED 102 DEUTZ CYLS AND HAD JORGE BORE THEM TO 103 TO MATCH MY 103 JEs.

Got the head fitted, some small adjustments to the hole for the head studs, so the cylinders fit and can move freely.
So one step further. Must say, happy at the moment.

make sure to trail fit what ever cylinder tinware you are using ,upper and lower . I used a flapper wheel on a 5in grinder to trim the fins where they stopped the tin from seating correctly . The deutz cylinders are a lot of work but worth it .

Yep will be trial fitting the under tinwork this weekend.
But got a question. the #3 cylinder is hitting the case (the vertical piece) with its fins, are you guys trimming the fins or the case in that position.
