Gene Berg's Poor Man's Posi Kit
Has anybody here had any experience installing and using the Gene Berg "Poor Man's Posi"? I put the kit in my swing axle during assembly last spring. I had some questions during installation and the folks at Berg Ent. wern't much help; nobody there seemed to know how to set it up.

These were never meant for every day drivers. If set up snug to mimic a locking differential, these are STRICTLY for low usage, low budget drag cars.
The spiders & side gears are forced into one another, dramatically accelerating wear of these components. It's advisable to machine the diff for dual circlips, as well.
Otherwise, the kit is useful for minimizing slop (fine tuning) the standard open swingaxle diff.
