3X3 arms.... what does it take to install??

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Longer/wider trailing arms require longer axles, longer shocks, re-worked upper shock mounts, stronger spring rates.
On a baja the longer shocks require cutting of the fender well and an internal cage to attach the upper shock mount to. They usually need to attach about where the bottom of the rear window is.
The longer arms also have more leverage against the spring so coil over shocks, airbags, or stronger torsions are usually in order. The rear torsion can be turned up more but doesn't always work well.
The 3x3 arms require custom length axles. They are available from Sway a Way. The 2x3 arms can use the bus length axles and are available at junkyards for much cheaper.
Be careful about the quality of the arms, the taiwan ones I have seen that are very cheap are made very cheap.
