Has anyone seen or used these?
UNI-TECH Performance Connecting Rods. They look kind of like the Scat I beam rods with a CB on the side. They are advertised on the CB website. For $97.95 they don't look too bad. Tim

Bought mine and we have a machine shop on site and I handed a stock rod and a uni-t and then gave him vw's spec.s. He check them for straightness....so-on. They look great for the price. I will be assembling the motor next week so I'll let everyone know how it goes-SS

I think what Dallas was trying to say was that they are pretty good rods-I built a 2007cc motor with these rods, they are well balanced and the case needs very little clearancing. If your going over 7000rpm on a regular basis then I'd go with the CB Super race rods H beams with 2000 bolts

Exsqueeze me, but what the FOCK are you talking about? Try to use the King's English. I can't make heads of tails out of your fractured and ignorant attempt at Ebonics. Grow the hell up.

So back to the original post. Has anyone else tried these rods? I have two 2110's to do next and they look pretty good to me. How about Scat's I beam rods? Any good/bad reports on those? I usually use stock clearanced rods but with the price of cores these days, new looks like about the same price. Tim

How dare you attempt to get back on topic!! Have you a concussion too? LOL

Could you post a link to those rods? I'm using a set of those Scat rods for my 1914--Kustom 1 Warehouse sells them for $120 a set. I wonder how they compare to each other.

Wow they look just like the Scats I have without the ARP bolts. Look like a toss up.
