brake line/ fuel line the same?
I need to replace the two brake lines that come out of the reservoir. The hose appears to be the same as braided fuel line. question is the hose the same as fuel line or different?

I replaced my master cyl this weekend and need about a ft of brake hose.
All I could find locally was rubber transmission hose rated at 1000 psi.
The hose that I ma replacing is from the reservoir to the MC and I don't believe that there is any pressure on these hoses.
Any way, It looks like it will take quite a while for the fluid to seep thru the hose.

Pressure is not an issue, brake fluid leaking through the hose and deteriorating the rubber from the inside is. You'll notice that the hoses are always wet, but it doesn't leak enough to drip and leave a puddle.
I haven't looked at the inside of the hose afterwards, whether there' pieces missing (those would travel into the master cyl and even further)
