Mig welding outside without flux core wire.

Who's welds out doors using the backhand heat reflective pad? I cup the stinger to block the wind. What do you do, put up sheets of plywood?

I just swear like a sailor, and svoid welding in the wind. It's a pain to swap out the wire just to weld out of the garage, so I try not to do it.

I don't change wire i use the mix out doors. I don't use the outershield fluxcore wire at all. If it's too windy it will be stick welded.
