doing some mixture tuning and trying to gert the hang of the new vertigate mse shifter. kept bouncing off the rev limit @ 7k. I would have put the 8k chip in, but I had the full size pulley on and didnt want to explode the fan.

Some vids of "launch practice" with the new M&H tires.

And here's a shot of my gauges and some revs so Miniman can have a heart attack at my lack of vacuum. Watch this one in high quality, it really improves the sound.

VERY nice fastback/launches and it is indeed a long quiet desert road. Cool scenery, we don't have that overhere.
Refreshing to see a fasty in drag trim 8)

Could you somehow explain in short what a vertigate mse shifter does?

Tnx,
Walter

An electric sender in the fuel rail.

What are you using for fuel pressure management?

Your pressure is far different from mine. I get around 3 bar 43psi at idle and it increases with boost. Your doesn't seem to get above 40, that would make me worry about the injector spray pattern.

Does it launch harder if you warm the tire first and go from a higher RPM?

A Bosch pressure regulator. 42psi at static is as high as it will go. It increases with boost.

In the vid with me driving, I was taking off at about 7000. It seems to take off best at about 3000.

mine does the same thing... idles with about 10 inches of vacuum, then increases to 15 to 20 when i'm taking it easy down the road. i think it's the w120 cam in my small motor. i imagine my fuel pressure responds accordingly... i just have a gauge on the rail. but i'm guessing pressure would go down when I free-rev it, and increases as i hit atmo and then boost.

what tires were you running before MK? hope you don't break something when you hook it sweet!
