Anyone know how to change the older 4 wire flasher on a '65 bus over to the newer 3 prong flasher (12v) :?:

Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

Starting Issues

You can do the jumper wire test to isolate the problem to the wiring or the starter itself. Make sure the tranny is in neutral and parking brake set!

Some owners choose to add an intermediate relay to help with low current issues:

Also....

Only you will know for sure what alternator you have and what may fit.......

Look all over I-net........ May be other sources or better pricing....

Also you will have to pull alternator, remove fan and remove rear bearing plate of alt to access VR inside alt case... OR if you are lucky you will have access to alt reg from top like in this graphic...
