New STF Off Road Stickers!

Post by rickosuave1987 »

Hey guys, just got the OK from Doc to make some new stickers.

I have decided the best way to go about it is to have a contest to see who can design the next sticker.

I want everyone to submit their photo and/or artwork for the stickers.

I will take care of converting the art/photo into something usable for the sticker.

Everyone submit here on this thread and then I will start a new one for voting so everyone can choose. Afterall, this is sort of a democracy

Ready? GO!

How about herbie getting air?
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

Original stuff, please. Can't infringe on copyrights or steal somebody else's work. Let's keep the T & A subtle.

So what are the theme parameters here? All VWs, off road, Monster-Fridolin, etc...

Just curious.

I would prefer to keep it in the VW world. A baja or rail or both.

Nothing too crazy, lots of "noise" makes the sticker look bad. So try to keep it simple.

If you have a good picture, I can crop out the background and such with photoshop.

my suggestion is use the existing logo but drop the bug. we want brand recognition, not another typeface to confuse people. just a simple sticker die-cut with transfer paper would do.

the letters need to be about 2 inches tall and available in black or white.

if the crowds demand it you could add a baja, manx or rail in place of the street beetle...

I was thinking the same thing...but you HAVE to have a VW based vehicle on it, or people that don't know...won't know. I'de use the existing design and do another with a Baja or rail.

K.I.S.S. what i like is the name on a sheet of paper that you stick on and peel the paper off and all you have is www.Shoptalkforums.com, it goes on windows, goes on tubing for rails and rollbars, and cost should be on the low side. No background just the name.
