did some sandblasting before I start welding the stuff.
here's the tool I use to trace shapes, that and cardboard makes it quite easy
I'm using that exact same profiling tool for my tinware!!! The secret weapon is out...I didn't use it there tho'
One thing for you to consider at this early stage is to make allowances for any changes in the distance between the heads, as in head fly-cut/cylinder shimming as needed, later down the road, to get your CR where you want it. The tins will be very stiff, when finished.
The blasted steel looks great!!!
I hope to have most of my cooling in black paint this weekend, that will be a milestone It's almost smooth enough.
