my turbo engine

just tought I should post some pictures of my turbo project.

its a 79. t4 2.0
webcam #73 with solid lifters
30mm oilpump
heavy exhaust porting
new bearings, valve guides, valves, etc.
cali style cooling
T3 turbo and EFI from a 85. SAAB 900
CR 8.2:1
I will also try to implement the knocksensor from the same car
guess I will be running aprox. 10 psi.

nothing fancy, it'l be a dayly driver, at least during summer months :)
planing on having this project done by early may. I hope :roll:

Don. it's the square port heads

Jonas. those cad files come in handy, thanks! also made som of my one to fit the stock intake and the saab throtle body.

I will dyno the beast if the oportunity comes along, nothing I stribe for.

That's a nice 1! That header looks GREAT!!

This will be the year of Cali/turbo home brewing!

What exactly is that pulley? I want to have a smaller pulley ready, if I need one. That looks just the ticket.

Matt. I'm not sure of the pulley brand, but it's made for a conversion like this, just bolt on!

Perfect! I'd like a lead on one of them..

What is the OD, roughly? I can see it's smaller than T1, it looks bigger than a cheap T1 'power pulley' which is my other option, so far.

I looked on CSP site last night, couldn't see that pulley? My T1 size bolt-on pulley is from CSP, I saw their pulley for 911 fan, no use for us...

Matt. I got the pulley from a norwegian shop called "hot shop" It's alu and meassures 14.7cm in diameter. it set me back some $100

Ok, what to do then? Do I have to machine the heads for different springs or....
