Flared Fenders
Okay, besides Jeffrey in Japan (www.jeffreys-vw.com), who the heck has the fenders with the flares on them? They look candy. Help a brother out in Florida with no connections.
Thx

You mean these?
Those went out of style around here 30-odd years ago. Must be an East-coast taste thing like whale tails.

Kerscher in Germany (www.kerschertuning.de) makes one of the nicest that I know in Europe.
BTW flared fenders are still used on germanlook cars.

Try Hoffmann Speedsters in Germany, they make great quality fiberglass fenders: http://www.hoffmann-speedster.de/ - choose language, click "beetle" and from the menu on the left click "fiberglass (gfk) parts" - you will find all kind of fenders you can dream of...
Good luck

Not that I want to say that every fender is bad by them, but I just say it.

I don't know, a friend of mine has them on his 1303 Super convertible and they are just fine... But, you know, how it is today, like with most german products, quality is always lower and lower... How is the quality of Paruzzi in Netherlands? www.paruzzi.comracelook wrote:Someone in Netherland had bought from hem but the quality was bad... so finally he also buyed at Kerschers.eurit35 wrote: Try Hoffmann Speedsters in Germany, they make great quality fiberglass fenders: http://www.hoffmann-speedster.de/ - choose language, click "beetle" and from the menu on the left click "fiberglass (gfk) parts" - you will find all kind of fenders you can dream of...

Quality of the german stuff is most of the time of an higher quality, but sometimes they don't are.eurit35 wrote:I don't know, a friend of mine has them on his 1303 Super convertible and they are just fine... Me and the guy that I know have bought both 1,5 year ago from Kerscher (he an half year later then I did) and we both have got some verry high quality stuff.
The fenders of Paruzzi are mostly (that I've heard) not from an good quality (bad fitment).

Do they ship to the US? I can't find anybody over here that sells them. I've called so fabricators but they don't like that still so they don't make them.
Hey racelook how’s the car coming? I haven't seen any pic’s lately? I still have the pic’s you sent on the fuel door. I'll get to that project someday.
