36 Dellorto DRLA tuning
The engine is stock with dual dells, 009 dist., and merged header. The carbs are in sync, but they are running rich. The carbs were tuned for a bigger engine. What jetting are you guys running for the same or similar setup.

Go to dellorto.com. They have info and parts listed. If floats are not adjusted prpperly it will run to rich or to lean. I run a single 36. Bought it used. Was told it was down jetted for a 1600 but do not know the size of the jets. I e-mailed then and they gave me good info....

stock engine with dual 36's should be set up like this:
55-60 idle
30mm venturi
120 main
35 pump jet
180 air
#2 emulsion tubes
the floats should be set as follows: 5mm closed, 13mm open.
if the floats are not set up right it may cause your rich mix also check your fuel pressure....it should be set to 2-2½ psi 3psi max. anything more is overkill and may contribute to your rich mixture also.
