Hi Udo. I have the same problem with 1 blue 90 degree hose. It sucks in on it self. Gunna have to make a 90 degree out of stainless segments and weld them together. I would also get a turbo carb hat from CB and convert that to fit your webber, Might be easier.

Hi Garrick, thanks yes, I replaced them yesterday for steel, all ok now.
Will look for CB hat
Engine is running ok, so happy now. Need to do some small stuff, then I will install it in the car.

Finally some time to continue.
I got my boost gauge.
Whats the best place to connect it? Im running a blow through carb setup.
Can I connect it under the carb? To read vacuum and Boost.. Will the fuel/air mixture be impacted by the Gauge? (or the gauge itself)
Or do I need to connect it in the carb hat? To read only boost?

I had my boost gauge connected on a little port on the stock dp end castings. It was on my draw trough supercharger setup. No mixture ever got to the gauge in the dash!
Better to be blown than to suck!

I just made a tee on my line to the waste gate to read boost. If I get a boost controller that won't work anymore.

Ok Thanks! Then I have some options. I will put it after the carb because I want to read the vacuum too..

I ran a hose off the stock intake vacuum connector for two yrs. I did notice a little hardening of the vacuum line a few inches away from the intake but other than that no issues.
I would make sure that the hose goes uphill for a foot or so right after the connection to make sure raw fuel can't get too far up the hose.

Some updates, and pics because thats always nice
Finally got the intake box, nicely made by my Colleague at the tech deparment! (Thanks mate!)
I made the intake holes 33mm (venturi's are 36mm)
Installed the box. Almost no room.. Thinking to make a engine lid..
Just a little ground clearance in lowrider modus.. will make a custom engine tray.
Engine in with bumper and towbar.. still waiting for alternator shaft to be fixed..
Need to do a lot of small things, finish intake and bov. Proper install the coil and breather box...etc

Happy new year all!!
Ok we had some fun on 31 dec .. I made the intake tube added the BOV and then we started it up.
With nothing tuned.. engine Is running way to rich.. but it never runned so good with the turbo connected.. The wastgate is set to 0.4 bar. Since this is only some revving in neutral we cannot say all is ok.. (max was 0.3 bar at the gauge)
offcourse we made a movie:

Hope you like it.
pff now I really need to get the oil and air cooling fixed to give it some street test runs..
