75 degrees here today. But I'm not close to Mario so....
Probably a good thing cuz I'd be broke! But my stuff would run!

Re: Safari Turbo/Megasquirt Fuel Injection Project
Fan control has been installed on the ECU with a wire out thru the spare on the relay board.
We also took a half hour drive south to a dyno shop and managed 18 pulls on the buggy.
Details to follow once I get back home.......
No....it didn't blow up....

I'm gonna guess 190hp at 22 pounds 5700 rpm

Re: Safari Turbo/Megasquirt Fuel Injection Project
You are close.......
First pull on wastegate only 6.0 lbs boost, no WI was 109.86 WHP and 132.29 Torque
Second pull on wastegate only 6.0 lbs boost, no WI was 112.13 WHP and 133.00 Torque
After some ignition tweaking and some slight fuel adjusts at boost transition the last couple runs were at a max of 20.5 lbs boost
Pull #16 was 187.70 whp and 200.93 Torque.
Pull #18 was 187.22 whp and 201.69 Torque.
All runs were made at around 5200 rpm and a couple were up to 5400 rpm with one at 5600 rpm.
We could not get the boost to go over 20.5 lbs pulling in third gear.
In retrospect we should have tried a fourth gear run.
The clutch might have been slipping causing some load issues and computer graph shows power falling off at around 5000-5100......It could be the clutch but we are not sure.
All in all it was a good day......we raised timing at least 3-4 degrees throughout the mid to high boost range with no hint of pinging and the graph showed improvement after raising the timing.
The IC did an excellent job of keeping the IAT's down with a lot of runs staying under 70* F. It was quite unbelieveable.........
Honestly......I was hoping for better pulls but considering we left about 3 lbs boost on the table I'm thinking my estimates of 250 Crank hp was pretty close.
With a little tweaking and the Stage two clutch along with figuring out why it won't put out over 20.5 lbs boost I'm pretty sure we can hit the target of over 200 WHP for sure and maybe more.
I have video of most of the pulls and will post a couple of them on youtube tomorrow......problem is they are only of the pull and quite boring if you really look at them.

Yeah man those are damn good numbers for 102ci! I'd be stoked! I'm pretty surprised at the numbers you made on 6psi. Gotta be a fun ride!
