Birdddogs '69 Baja and beam build

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

Finally got around to putting my new headlight bucket in, still have one to go.

And modified the rear cage to allow the use of the Kadron air cleaner.

Didn't get the car out at all last summer. Got my FFL about a year ago, so been playing with things that go bang a lot.

I've been missing the Jeep trail stories and videos.

I always loved making the 4WD guys mad by taking my Baja off the trail out into the rough stuff to go around them when they're stuck (in the good line) and listening to them yell at me that I can't be there because I don't have 4WD.

Hey, since I at work and not in my shop to check measurements, has anyone used a 7x16 enclosed trailer to transport their Baja? I just got a new trailer to make a camper out of and if I could haul the Baja in it to the dunes in Michigan that would be awesome.ImageImage
