Central WA Baja

Offroad VW based vehicles have problems/insights all their own. Not to mention the knowledge gained in VW durability.

I still have 2000RPM left and at 70mph and 4200 I am in the meat of the Vtec mash the loud pedal and the queen still squats and goes to 90 in a hurry lol.

The 70mph with the headsets is not so bad, but that's just one more thing that's illegal on the streets here in WA.

That makes sense.

So the plan for the weekend if I can get it to come together. Give a random Vet a ride in the memorial day parade here in town. Oh wait..... First we'll take the Queen to the car show all shined up and pretty, then give a vet a ride in the parade, then we"ll hit the dirt for a short ride and go back and park at the car show muddy as f*&%k ! LOL we"ll see how it all goes.

I was up at Autovice back trying to get info on steering and I think I heard that there was to be a VW show this weekend. Is that right and... if so, are you going to show at it.

He didn't say where it was, I assumed it was here. He is restoring a VW and was looking for rear shock bolts so he could get to the event and show what he had.

The "striptease" photos are interesting. After all the build shots the ease and seemingly speedy way you can disassemble the car is interesting. Looks good both dressed and "naked".
