Hi to all,
I was thinking of putting a small turbo that was given to me by a friend. It's a Garett from a 1990 300zx.
The plan is to use the existing header, take out the fatboy muffler and make a "u" tube into the header and up to the ignition area.
My question is: what would be the maximum tube diameter from the header to the turbo flange?

I would step it down to match the turbo flange to gain as much of the velocity back as possible.

Hi Mario,
I haven't had the time to measure the inlet flange of the turbo but it's one of those t25 with the square center.
I do not have the turbine 5 bolt cover yet so I don't know what size that should be either. Hector's (my buggy friend) has a 3" exhaust tube but his is a 2109cc with a t03.

Hi,
I measured the t25 inlet flange and it is 1.5" x 2".
For the exhaust side I was thinking of 2.5" all the way down to the right apron hole.

2.5" is what I run in my 2276.

Been a while posting on progress on the bug. I made a few changes to the pipes to eliminate the possibility of boost leaks. Also, relocated the wastegate port on he CB header. Here's a pic of the new config and the car itself.

Can anyone post the steps to follow for semi-sequential on a MS-2? If possible.
I'm rewiring the MS-2 with one of those Delphi connectors and don't want to mess up connectors. Currently I have 1&3 ; 2&4 paired. If it's the same, OK but in Tunerstudio what would the settings be.

I was thinking of putting a water meth kit on my bug from snow performance stage 1 to activate with the MS2. I also saw a Devilsown unit but find the first one more to my specs.
Any thoughts on it?
One of my ??? Is that where should I put the nozzles...one for each port in the manifold or on the T after the intercooler?

So, I bought the meth kit...put it aside to refresh the engine and what a refresh. I found a cracked cylinder, #4 to be exact and the head on that side on the spark plug hole about 1/4" long. I guess it leaned out a bit.
I decided to not use the 90.5mm nor the heads. I bought 94mm to neckdown to fit 90.5/92mm bore.
For heads, i was inclining towards 40x37.5. DRD or Panchitos.
Any thoughts?
I will be using the same cam and crank.

I don't have anything constructive to add as far as your refresh, but I just wanted to inquire about your intercooler and meth kit. I see that you're running 13lbs, and wanted to know if your intercooler alone was enough to deal with the IATs. Is that as high as you have run the boost with the intercooler? Are you just adding the meth to run higher boost? I'm only running 8lbs right now, just to be conservative, and will likely be adding an intercooler in the future.

I was going to do a refresh on the engine but turned out I cracked a jug (#4) also cracked the head. So, I guess I am now installing it to avoid detonation.

Yesterday I got my new 94mm pistons which I sent to be turned down at the base. They cut it exactly as the 90.5mm I had, with the step. The 90's had a tight fit but they are thick and I just tapped them in. Now these have the same tolerance and I don't dare tap them since they are thinner.
I was thinking of sanding it a bit since the machinist turned out to be an a@@.
Any thoughts?

So, I put in a cylinder in the case and my new deck height is .123. What would be the best way to get to .050? Cut the bottom of the cylinder or the top? Or use another size rod, etc.
I was planning on buying DRD heads that have a 58cc chamber.
