When I recently went 5x130 I ended up springing $100 on a 18" Boxster spare ($49+ shipping)
18x3.5" aluminum rim and a skinny inflated space saver.
You can pick it up and carry the space saver around with one finger.
~Same dia as stock tire, and so narrow/deep offset I keep a gallon of oil and windshield washer fluid tucked inside in the std hole... Of course its a late T3, so it has room for a 205/55 on 6" rim.
You could probably fabricate a filler with a decent mobile tool set if so desired, plenty of room.
What do you guys have for spare tire

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
