EDIT: Minis already made them.

1/4" spacers, longer studs on the heads, longer studs on the carb flange inboard locations and Pete's bracket fits with at least ten thou. to spare.

WOOT!

Now sync the carbs one more time and drive it like you mean it
(I suspect the former will go a lot smoother than you are used to, assuming you own a Snail)

That was just the left side bracket as a trial fit. I now will patiently wait for the package to arrive so it will be a done deal.
The spacers required lots of trimming to make them fit, it was all worth the effort.

Between work, sleep, etc. time is in short supply. Coming right along. I love instructions with pictures. Pete's kit is a work of art. Left side done. Everything is in the kit, properly labeled.
The spacers were a PITA to trim so they would fit. The long cable install without help, was a lot of work. How come this was not out sooner. How many hex bar linkages are there making bugs run like shinola?

Sorry this took so long. Pete's the man! the bug runs a lot better now that all is working together in perfect harmony.
Installed rain hats that I had stored for at least a couple yrs.
Tomorrow, a cargo flight direct from Mexico City, is bringing my new floor pan. I don't know when I'll find the time and the space to swap my bent/twisted pan with a OEM one direct from the factory, but it shall be done eventually.
And.... got a hold of a "jet gauge" .....two idle lets were not the size stamped on them, and two (count them) main jets were also not sized as stamped.
Good thing I have lots of spares.
Thanks, everyone, for all the good pointers over the years.

Are you going to convert your new pan to IRS? They new pans all come as swing axle, correct?

Swing axle. It is what it is. I'm just getting the part now. I don't have the floor space it requires to engage the project at this time.
The pans are hard($$$) enough to get now and I'm looking ahead.
I'll report on the final cost of getting this thing home when I do.
Leaving for work now, be back tomorrow.

I'm being forced to retire this month. Lost my FAA medical.
Now, I'll have time, not money.
Gathering all the bits and pieces for the floor pan switch.
Where do I find S/S cable 7x19 in a 1/16" dia.?
No doubt, new cables will be needed.

Aircraft Spruce and Specialty comes to mind. It would be the quality you are accustomed to.
Motorcycle shop would be my next choice.

Yes, Aircraft Spruce carries the cable in a 7X7 strand, the leftover piece from the original install is a 7X19 beauty.
Maybe Pete will read this and chime in.
It's a work of art, when the ferrule is attached to the cable end, if there is any tail ( not flush ) it's a bear to remove from the pulleys.
This cable system solved all my problems with my Dells.

Outriggers belong on a fishing boat. Not on a carb linkage.
