Just glad your doing a lot better Skid, see most guys will buy high dollar light parts, us we can just loose some weight.
Not to hijack the thread but here is a killer vid. I told Hedrock he makes it out here I will buy the gas for his baja.

Love that video, thanks for reminding me it was there. Very good editing.

I must be ill.... I am starting to have thoughts of selling the ol' girl. Not sure why, but this abomination of thought as crept into my mind several times over the last few months. It never goes very far, but usually proceeds to what project would I replace it with? Someone needs to slap some reality into me! Ugh....

Yeah, that's a big negative. If you can't get to the dirt, then drive it to work. You just need a fix. Parked toys mess with your mind. You gotta play with them from time to time or you'll lose interest.

I go through the same, hurry, can't wait to finish. Then I get post partum blues and miss the build.

You could just take the Hedrock approach....soon as it is done and you get the blues....tear the thing down for another change.Getrdone wrote:I go through the same, hurry, can't wait to finish. Then I get post partum blues and miss the build.

Re: Making progress...
Went out for the day yesterday north of Barstow with six other bajas. Only the second time the car has touched dirt in over a year. Had such a good time forgot to take any pictures. We tried to find the crash site of the XB-70 (http://area51specialprojects.com/nutt/steve_nutt.html), where there is a memorial to the pilots that died. We had three different GPS's show that would were right on top of it, but we failed to find anything. Oh well... I will have to add finding it to my bucket list. We only logged around 70 miles, but drove the baja out and back as well. Yeah, I doubt I would sell her. Good day having a bunch of fun! I just need to go out more often.
