I installed a set of 944 non-turbo rear brakes on my '69 beetle. I was hoping to run 225/45/17s on the rear but my 205/50/17s already stick out with ET 42 rims.
Are there different offset rear hubs on the 944 (maybe different model years). If so, could I replace the hubs and disc and still run the same backing plate/caliper & mount, or would the whole set up need to be changed?
