Here she is a 62 ragtop on a 69 pan, almost done but she sits way high in the rear, I have the adjustable springs plates for her, but don't have the time to install them.

For those interested it has
4" Narrowed Beam with drop spindels
Cross drilled rotors
16" ADR DTM rims with 50 series tires
Bride Racing Seats
Custom 4 point cage
Turbo is setting in the garage,

I always wondered if you put an exhaust like that on a VW does it sound like a ricer?Or is it more of a deep tone?

my friend has a Subaru Impreza and it has a 5Zigen exhaust system, and he told me my bug sounds like his car. :)

the diameter is 1.75 and the muffler has a 2inch tube.

They sound very similar to subarus when you put those cans on them.

the unique subaru rumble sound is caused by their unequal length headers.

So basically it wouldn't matter where it was mounted?Or is there a specific un-equalness about them?I would kinda want mine hidden, because no offense,But i dont really want that kind of muffler seen on my car lol.

if you wanted that same rumble, youd have to make unequal length headers for your car, similar to the subaru. if you put equal length headers on a subaru, it sounds sorta similar to a vw.

I just use a Tamiya clear black hobby spray paint for the smoked tail lights, and the headers is done by a friend of mine, and here in Manila you can ask almost all muffler shop to copy a particular muffler as long as you have the details and some pics. of it. :)
