944 brakes success?

There's a guy over here in australia that runs boxter rears on the front, plus 944 standard rears with good success. I don't think he circuit races the car, but its got a turbo'd WBX in it, so it must go pretty good.

Got the 944 I rear brakes on my type 3 squareback and drove already more then 30k miles with it. Made the handbrake adapter myself and used all the 944 parts for the rest: love it! stops way better than before; still stock front disk brakes and m/c.

I'm using 944 turbo brakes.up front I'm using drumbrake spindles because they have 3 holes where the dustcover used to go and where I mounted the adapter for the caliper on.

As a spindle I used original beetle discs which I have machined in to a hub.I then fitted studs into it.And I used rear discs from a 996 porsche.they are 330 mm diameter and 28 mm thick.

on the rear I'm driving the steel porsche 944 arms with the original brakes.

I must say it has massive stopping power.
