You know, de-chromed, big Porsche rims, Brembos, etc.,... German Look rules!

That's for a watercooled 911, it's likely the same Bosch unit as used one as some common vehicle model.

Try ~1983-5 model year 911...
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

A good condition un chipped (fins not damaged) 11 blade fan, alternator, and ring go for around $300. That is used parts.
Price a new alternator (sitting in down)!

So... can anyone post pics (three view) of one of the 911 alternators with dimensions?
(esp mounting points)

I have never studied one of the beasts except at a car show, on an assembled engine, but given some good pics w/dimensions we may collectively be able to come up with An Evil Plan. or something.

I have one in the shed I can measure and take pics. I need to try to sell it anyway so this is a good reason to force me to clean it up and take pics.
