Thanks to those who have put in a lot of work behind the scenes, I'm looking forward to getting the forums back!

In the end which data is being resurected, from '06 or '09?

AJ found an old pic of my car in drag race mode from EBI-2 (last year) :D :D

The resurrection

Post by taozen »

Not drawing direct correlation or anything, but...the GL forums have risen from the dead. A HUGE thanks to Sandeep!!!!!!!!!

You may get different results in accessing them as the changes propagate over the next day or two. Keep in mind that if you changed your password since December 2008, you may have to reset it or remember your old one to get in.

I will spend some time this week getting graphics back in place with the new name (my little part in trying to get our community back together). Sandeep is still working to bring the remainder of the main site back up.

I want to send another thank you to Doc for allowing squatting here. It is not that STF isn't appreciated and needed. GL.com just had the embedded knowledge in the forums and tech articles that just can't be replaced and is customized to a specialized depth for GL'ers that STF isn't.

do you have another build thread somewhere else?
Nope, haven't put it up yet...
I only have time to do it one place, and, well... :?

Right now I am jonesing very, very hard to see the Bugat5-speed how-to that was so graciously donated...

That, and searching some wisdom from Lanner on 944 rear end parts interchangeability....

Or how Humble's latest project is coming along..

Dag, without GL.com, the world is a different place. :(
Clatter now you have no excuse to post your thread on Germanlook.net

LOL, it took longer than three days ...

Thanks to everyone for making this so. This is absolutely fantastic.
