tach wiring

I know,I know, should maybe post this somewhere else first ,but lets give it a shot. I have a vdo tach with the following numbering on it 230/98/1 12v /12000Imp. 4Zyl/4 Takt massefrei 5.81

it has the following pins on it, looking at the back reading from left to right as follows -12, 15 ,+ and no obvious grd i think it might grd thru the mounting brackets whats what , i know i need a tach input , a power wire ,a ground what goes where anybody got any ideas

ok here is what i have been able to figure out the -12 pin is grd the 15 pin is my signal back from coil - and the + pin is an keyed power source hopely i have this right please if i don't have it right please let me know
