Cant Post Pictures.

Trying to post some JPG pictures and editor says it can't with this error message "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct.", both pictures are hosted on my flickr account and have been in use for years and have been able too post here before latest upgrade... Yes they have valid complete URL address and am using proper insert image command as defined by editor and proper BBC code..

Picture is 600X320 and in proper JPG format and URL is correct.

Something has gone wrong in latest up grade becasue is the only site of many I visit where the problem exists.

Déjà vu.

IIRC something was changed back in 2009 which allowed the display of remotely hosted pictures (so long as they were ≤ 800x600 pixels, anyway).

I played with some pictures hosted on Photobucket, reducing the size and the file size progressively and never found a point at which I didn't get that "It is not possible..." message.

Can still upload photos directly to STF using the Attachments tab, but that doesn't accommodate creating captions for them (and uses STF server storage space).

Funny.... I been posting for a long time here .. Well not do much recently but up to lets say a year ago never has a problem, the is why I always used my Flicker account because it hosts my pic for various sites I visit....And the pics I tried to post were a max of 600x480 well under "limits"... No something changed recently as I found out from other having same problem in a different "post"...

Most of the pictures I would post do not have a URL associated with them. How do I post these pictures? I don't see anything like "Full Edit" that supposedly allows the posting of pictures.
