WUE enrichment curve

Post by thedrew »

Hey Guys,

What temp do you guys have it reach 100% enrichment? and how high of an enrichment do you go, and is the curve linear?

perhaps just post me a picture of the curve you use :)

Thanks!

The registered TunerStudio has a WUE wizard that will automagically set up the curve.
There is no real need to have WUE "turn off".

But on ACVWs with the injectors in the stock locations, "less" is usually the correct answer.
In the newer, flatter one I'm running ~e70.
It's also vital to know my open element sensor is on a T4 in the cooling airflow just under the head in exhaust port adjacent airflow, not touching the head.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

It also depends very very heavily on where your sensor is.

Very true, thus the detailed sensor type/placement comment

It is a much better place to start vs the default which seems to be for a TBI equipped SBC, that will flood an acvw out.

Thanks, I figured out why my warmup was so difficult -- my cold advance settings were all in the negative, so at cold start, it was running at about 2 degrees... hard to imagine why it didn't run very well!

Do you guys use the Wall Wetting in accel enrichment? Which mode?

I run max cold advance until it clears ~130F then taper down.

accel pump EAE... but do not mess with that more than is essential until the VE table is nailed down hard.
Otherwise it multiplies the error and will suck.
