Are those Auber Instruments gauges? I've been eyeballing those on eBay and haven't pulled the trigger yet. How to you like them?

What is involved with an engine R&R with your setup? How many connections to do? Mine is taking more time every change I make...

It's not to bad. I don't need to pull the header or turbo. I do need to remove the fuel rails and injectors. Then pull the wiring back, pull off the up pipes, cap off the full flow lines and yank :)

Wiring wise I only have a hand full of things that need to move. IAT, Coolant, TPS, VR, Hall dizzy, Boost control.

I can have it out in a couple hours if I need to.

Soul - They are not from Auber's but the same style. I like them alot, they are very easy to read and the 0-5 volt outputs are great to plumb into my ECU :) They come in different colors but I have stuck with red. For night driving ;)

Nice photographs Mario. It's good to see how people lay out their electronics gear.
Is it important to mount the megasquirt to a plastic or wood board? or can it be bolted directly to the body?

No it doesn't need to be mounted to anything special. I just chose to do it that way :)

Dale,
its a knock control unit that works with the COP. it can sense individual cylinder knock and retard that particular cylinders timing. it is inline with the harness between the ms3x and the ls2 coils

here is the site:

It's a pricey gizmo, but I hear good things about it.
