I'm also wondering if 1/4NPT is like 1/4BSP ect

Or i just buy a swirl tank, seen VW made one from an old golf or something? had an IN, VENT, OUT, RETURN .... can use an 8mm outlet tank piece maybe...

I think it was Pile that said they were available at the local "FLAPS".

You could try there too.

Didn't the VW Fox use them???

Are you talking about the fuel pressure accumulator from a CIS injected car?

I think I mentioned at some point using the plastic sump recirc tank off later Golfs/cabbies/Fox etc.

I think the nomenclature was "filter" or something equally idiotic for a ~transparent hollow plastic enclosure with a bunch of tubes sticking out..

They turned out to be pretty pricey here in the UK new, around £80 which is about $150??

What about that vent in the corner of the tank, as you look in under the bonet from the front of the car its bottom right, couldn't i just put my return into that??

I use a Bosch pump off a mid-70s VW bus and the fuel filter. The inlet side of the filter is 6mm I think? and 8mm outlet?? It's smaller on the inlet side than the outlet though.
