Its a 2332 with 48mm intake valves and it makes 235 H.P it runs it's fasted 1/4 miles currently
With 42mm venturies in the 48 IDA's
The obviouse choice would be 42's ?
With a switch to efi what size T bodies would you use? And why?
Will be using Jenveys so the choices are 40, 42,45,48 or 50's
Cheers
OK which size of Throttle bodies would you use?

I'd go 50mm with big valve heads like that. I loved mine with my 48x38 CE's.
Throttle bodies to your use
The unanswered RPM range question.
I would fit a 58mm butterfly high in the tapered runner.
I would then set the overall trumpet length.
I would then measure MAP pressure (MAX) in the runner at song.

When I was still asperated running a Web251 cam and Redline 50mm ITB's, I would register 7kpa higher than ambient air above 5500 rpm. That's just a hair over 1 lb of 'boost'! Straight IDF manifolds on CE 48x38 heads.

Re: OK which size of Throttle bodies would you use?
Thanks for the replies guys It,s drag race only, 5500-8500 RPM but if was to really put a 50mm or bigger t body on this motor isnt the port velocity going to take a massive nose dive ? As I mentioned above the motor runs its fastest times with 42 vents in the ida,s ( yes it looses power with 44's ......)
I guess the first thing I will do is slap a few combinations of t body bore sizes on the flow bench and measure some velocities with the Pitot tubes, comparing to what we see with the 42 vent ida's and work from there.
Cheers

It probably makes best power due to emulsification not air speed. I'd go for the 50s myself.
