Not quite ready for VW application yet and just getting around to making the batch of stainless fuel rails.
Not even sure whether there is any need for IDA pattern TBs unless you are confined to the choice of manifold for Autocraft Pauter heads or prefer the taller IDA manifold for the Comp Elims.
These throttles can be flipped to put the injectors inboard and can be used on IDF manifold with shorter coupling. Also spindles can be set up to rotate either way

Why so big.... For all out racing they may be fine, but for average street use something like a 34-36mm throat/butterfly would be more desirable...

They're mainly for other engines so 42mm is the smallest which will allow for over 200 real hp on a VW engine. So yes you are correct 34mm or 36mm would be fine for 99% of the VW engines out there

I like the idea of the IDA throttle bodies because I may want to swap to these when I get tired of the Webers. I can just bolt these on with out going to the extent of buying IDF manifolds and then having to match port them.

I'd be very interested in a set of 36mm or 38mm IDA throttle bodies...
