Checking My IDF Jets

Post by cal 67 »

I don't actually have too many problems with the drive-ability of my car right now. It's happened twice in 3 years where while taking off from a stoplight, my car wouldn't accelerate. I could rev it, but when I let go of the clutch it would bog and not pull off. After 30 seconds or so of idling, it would pick up again and everything would be fine. I get about mid 20's in gas mileage. I don't have any flat spots during acceleration. I just did a complete shaft out rebuild of a set of 44s and I now I'm ready to go through my 40s. I just went out and checked some of my jets. I have 26mm vents, F11 tubes, 200 airs, and 115 mains. I haven't checked the idles. I believe they were either 50s or 55s. My 40s are the older cam styles if that makes any difference. My engine is a 1776, 288 duration/.400 lift, 8.1ish compression, with stock valves. what changes should I make to my jet combo? I'm at sea level.

Are these on your 44 or 40 IDF Webers?
