I had a few sync losses so I turned my filter to

Primary tach "On"

Noise filter enabled "On"

Tach period rejection "On"

Time "ms" 0.2
Percentage "ms" 12

Secondary Tach "Off"

I increased them both once but it started missing so I put it back.

Play with the filter period at the top first.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

OK I am now cooking with gas or spark for the matter ;-)

I spent lots of time idling in the driveway today and also revving it up to around the 3K range and adjusting the noise filter to get a feel for how each of the settings was affecting the sync. It seemed very little so found what seemed to be best, at the time, settings and then added in a 10k resistor. That made a world of difference even though still get a total of 3 lost sync reason 2, on the last run today, it was very drivable. Not sure if the 3 that happened could be cleared up by going to the 20K resistor or not but might try later.
