Re: Waste not, want not - "free" stuff!
I have some parts I'm sick of moving from spot to spot. I have the rear apron and decklid from a '68 Beetle in decent shape. I also have a rear bumper with brackets from same vintage Bug that has been spotty primed in rattlecan grey but I doubt it was properly prepped cuz I can still see shiny in many places. Probably not good for a resto but would be good if you were thinking of painting it anyway. I'm in southern NH, don't have easy access to Greyhound so would have to be picked up or delivered via STF relay.
I'm looking for a line on an inexpensive windshield for a '68 and up standard Beetle if anyone knows where one is cheap and deliverable to NH, let me know. Thanks!

Thanks, sorry I dint get back with you sooner, but I just slotted mine.Jonf wrote:this is what i have got...dstar5000 wrote:YEP!
My shifter(curved) has the pin, but the rod I have is for the old
straight shifter, hence no slot in the reciever for the pin.
Yours have the slot and can it be mailed(lengthwise) USPS?

I have some stock tie rods if anyone is interested....if not they will be pitched.
*tie rods are pending, soon as I can figure out a way to box and ship them.*

Anybody have a 13/8 header they want to part with or some good used 90.5 pistons and cylinders?

how soon do you need em? I have a set on a car hopefully will be swapped out soon for some chevy patterns. could be 3 months tho
give a man a watch and he'll allways know what time it is. give him two and he can never be sure again.

PM me in the future if you get desperate, I may simply have forgotten. those things are pretty high on a short to-do list for that buggy, so who knows what might happen.
