i have a 7 peice baja kit that i have never seen on a car..it does have the "delux" recessed hood.. crack in nose piece..very easy fix..no missing chunks or holes..if you wanna pay shipping i will pack it up. and find a cheap way to send it.

i will dig tomorrow and see what else i have.

if you send one UPS its a little over $100 to send. I think that was minus the rear fenders.

Is that a 36hp shroud?
I'm thinking it's too narrow for a 1600 and uses the thinner fan too.
Some aftermarket versions will fit though.......

Ok what is the difference in a 36 and 40 shroud? I hate sounding stupid but man I am getting good at it :lol:

OK don't repeat this as the gospel but I think some 36 HP 1200cc engines had no provisions for the fresh air heat. (outlets on the fan housing).
Later 36 and 40 HP, both still 1200cc had the outlets but are narrower than the 13-1600cc engines.
Fan shrouds were narrower I am thinking.
Someone who knows the older stuff better than me needs to jump in here......... :wink:

it looks like the shroud on my old 40 engine. it was a '62 and had no vent tubes. i think it had "stale air" heater boxes. then again, i'm no eggspert.


turboblue is right abput the 36 shrouds having thinner fans, but i don't know when they went to the slightly wider fan.

6 over link pin beam with bigger shock towers (not sure how big) with bilstein shocks and gusseted spindles. only down side is its pretty much compleatly frozen up. and the spindles have to be re built.
