crazy wipers

Post by ouvw2 »

Hi everybody,
I have a new problem with my rebuild, I was checking all my handy work that i have done to the new harness and the i have a problem that i need your in put on, When i turned the key to start the bug the wipers came on. The wiper switch on the column had no effect on the when trying to slow or stop them, i checked the wiring twice and its pretty strait forward set up just not sure on how to chase this problem.

Is the harness VW, aftermarket, or home made? Is it following the color codes for your vehicle? What year is your vehicle?
