Turn signal question

Im looking for small flush mount turn signals.To mount under the headlights on a bugeyed nose.I would like to use the LED style.The only ones I can seem to find are the ones for bikes only trouble with those they are kind of small.Think I would have to much trouble with the cops running a set of those?

If they are DOT approved should not, but that does not stop a Cop having a bad day wanting to pass the buck either.

Isn't there some rule about visibility at so many feet at specific viewing points?

That what I heard but couldnt find it anywhere.I guess worst case scenario they give me a fix-it ticket.

Visibility Requirements of Signals

24952. A lamp-type turn signal shall be plainly visible and understandable in normal sunlight and at nighttime from a distance of at least 300 feet to the front and rear of the vehicle, except that turn signal lamps on vehicles of a size required to be equipped with clearance lamps shall be visible from a distance of 500 feet during such times.

So basicly it just comes down to how far away you can see them.I wonder how far away the LED's can be seen?

They are pretty bright, do you have a pic of what you are going to install?

Im just going to order a pair.The pic online is to small to tell anything from.
