Chris,
Loved your videos, many thanks for posting them. Long time ago I raced SCCA at the regional level so I know how fast you have to be to get to the national runoffs....quite an accomplishment. You were right there in the corners but it hurt me to see those guys pull you in the straight...maybe Jake's engine will help that.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh...
Some of us are well aware of that 'pulling you on the straights' problem...
But it sure is FUN to drive 'em nuts in the turns....

Both the blue car and the yellow car are driven by older more experienced racers with more $$ in their racing budgets. The yellow car is actually a 914-6 in the next higher class, E Prod.
I was pretty excited when I nearly pulled alongside the blue car coming onto the back straight on the first lap, as he was the class leader and eventual winner. The black Midget was fastest FP qualifier that day and a top Runoffs competitor as well.
I found out I didn't have to back off so early going into the bowl (Nascar turn 1). We qualified using the chicane just before the bowl on Friday, but it was flooded from the remnants of hurricane Charley on Saturday. Sunday we used the chicane again and I took 3 seconds off my qualifying time during the race. Next season I'll have more power and I'll know the track already.
