Tire Time
It's time to buy tires so I can get my pan rolling . My wheels are 15 X 5.5 and I'm looking at 185/65/15's for size to keep the height at 24.5 in. Anyone have a favorites, tires to stay away from, or other rubber advise? The car will be used mostly on mountain roads.

185/55 is 24.4685, 195/60 is 24.21259" ....just ~1% shorter, a comfortable fit on 5½" rims, and more availability.
I'm partial to Yokohama Avids (~$76-$83 depending upon model in 195/60) but Falken Sincera SN-211 also look like a real bargain at ~$63 with an 800 treadwear and "A" traction rating if you don't expect you'll need an "A" temp rating (e.g. suitability for sustained high speeds in hot weather).
