Gene Berg Rubber Trans Mount

I have the Gene Berg Rubber Trans Mount in my 71 street Ghia. With the trans out for service, I noticed the rubber cylinders seem pretty floppy even with the center bolts very tight. Should these rubber mounts be replaced?

To answer my own question, I ordered and installed new rubber mounts from Berg. They evidently updated them from the originals and they are much more rigid, ( like I used to be). I hope to be able to test them out soon. " The older I get the better I was."

Thanks for the update. I remember tossing those silly bouncy mounts in favor of the old padded front strap.
