I'm getting started on my first rebuild, the markings on the pinion that show the deviation from the standard 58.70mm have me confused. The markings on the pinion are only stamped K835 and a scribed "Hi". The outside edge of the ring gear is stamped K835 followed by scribed "26 Hi 75". Based on my manuals and instructions, I was expecting just a single number scribed, that would show .XXmm to be added to 58.70 for that particular pinion. Am I on the right track, and can anyone help me decipher these gear markings? This is a different gear set than was originally in the case, so I have to set it up from scratch..
Thanks! SD

Re: ring and pinion marking
Thanks Pablo. Do the "Hi 75" mean anything significant?
