OK, so I am getting a welder and I wanted to know if anyone had thoughts about the Miller Multimatic. MIG, stick and TIG. I realize that it can't be as good as a dedicated machine for any one of the processes. However, I took a class and am relatively comfortable with MIG, but I really want to learn TIG. Thoughts?
Basically I am going to be ripping apart my 1969 and doing pans and maybe some body work. Basically I want to use this car as a learning process with the hopes of doing some hot rod building down the road. You've got to learn somehow... Then I can move on to bigger projects. My son is little now, but I want to have some good skills in 5-7 years so we can work together.
Anyway, I got off track. Basically I'm wondering what people think of that welder. I would like to get into chassis and body work down the road. So I am not just looking to put in new pans...
