Jake, how would this engine combo take low speed high load situations, like if MassIVe 79 Vert (welcome to Jakes extended family BTW :) ) were to go *ahem* "Class 11" and be climbin' some of da hills thare in GA?
So you think your project is taking forever eh? Well you've got nothing on me.....

It would work excellent for low speed, high load applications.... The high velocity of the intake charge and the excellent mixture quality would really make a "Grunt and go" powerplant!

sounds great. can't wait to see the results of the engine and the car. perfect car for Beth. btw, we need a vert in the VKG...and a chick! :D

Now Beth,,,,,,, you don't expect Jake to build a car for himself that plays second fiddle do you. It would be great to have you in our GL club. Jake won't get jealous. He already has the nasty 914(a GL in my book) and know us all well.

Sure. Just do 96x80 with a 30cc head and run about 0.003 deck.

How about a TWO STROKE T4? :)

A two stroke TIV is already out there.... a 914 guy did it a few years ago and did a great job too!
