Type of paint gun/equip.
I was wonder is a Turbine Paint system better than normal compressed air? and is HVLP a good company?
Brian,
Don't know about the turbine system, but HVLP is not a brand but stands for High Volume, Low Pressure. It's the preferred system for auto painting and most spray equipment sold these days is HVLP.
High dollar paint guns by Binks, DeVilbiss and others go for $2-300 and are good choices if you think you are going to really get into painting. But, if you're just starting out or only going to do one project, I've had very good luck with a gun from Harbor Freight Company for about $50. A good way to learn - all the features of the high dollar models. Search Harbor Freight for the gun at www.harborfreight.com.
