VW trailer rear section

Latest project a 74 VW rear end trailer. The hard part is done now to finish it.

Very cool. I haven't seen it done that way before. Put an engine in it and you could have extra power for hill climbing!

How did you roll the sheet metal for the front corners?

Just built a tubing frame and wrapped the sheet metal around the curve since I don't have a slip roll big enough.

That is one trailer that looks like a trailer and not like a chopped-up car gone wrong. Mission accomplished I'd say. . .

Very nice! Are you using a regular trailer axle and leaf springs?

Yes I will be using the 74 super front spindles bolted to a home made axle with leaf springs. That way we can match the wheels. The rear section used was from a rusted convertible.
