I was bored yesterday and decided that I should do a cool pic before really getting in to engine assembly. So, I set up and took this pic. Forgive the grain and such ... I was working with an old 300D and the kitchen lighting, plus a desk lamp. Enjoy. =)

Really nice picture! 8)

I will let mods know and maybe it can be used as a parts reference for many other discussions.

Thanks and more of same stuff, if you have the inclination.

I hadn't considered that. It's pretty much the entire longblock, save for the pushrods. Aside from several parts being pre-assembled, it could be a decent reference.

What other pics did you have in mind?

I think any "assembly" on the car that is in pieces and can be laid out as this pic might be instructional.

Most people get through the "big" parts of a job, but may have trouble remembering which of those stacked gears goes on first. As they say. "A pic is worth a thousand words".

Got ya Doc. If I think of anything else, I might do more.

Also, added a high res link to the first post.
