1971 Standard sedan, 1600 Swingaxle, Given to me by my late Opa in September 1999 in less than road worthy condition.Your basic change every panel except the doors and roof resto. Did the work in the frame straightening bay in Opa's body shop. It was the last car he worked on before he died, drawing his forty year bodyman career to a close.
Fresh out of the body shop note hi riding stance due to lack of anything in the car.

First Show.
We won 2nd place Beetle. Boy was I pumped!!
Installed an adjustable beam, powdercoated blue along with new drums. The nose went down along with the ride quality
Second show. Need some 195/50s in front. Rubbing a bit on long exit ramps
Another 2nd place. Lost to a 68 on an Airkewld air ride.
Finally got the rear drums powder coated to match the fronts.
I had nice company at the latest club show.
Waited a little long to park it last winter
Tossed on the snowmobile suit with the windows down for the 45 minute ride to the farm.
