Hi Dangerous,
So you saw me remove it in another post I just did on topic of support bars on UAC?
If not, in fact I just sprayed it in "Paint" not to raise more questions. :-)
But i must admit it is very annoying to know it is there.
The most stupid thing is that the block has been apart at least twice since it happened and I could have modified that area with many ways in order to save the block. Now I will for sure remember but it will take some time.
I just moved abroad again....so quite low/slow activity for some years.

I was in so much hurry leaving the garage that I even forgot to mount the rear bumber.
It could have been worse things to forget..........

Yeah that was right it was the worst thing to forget, but you know I'm happy for you can still make this car possible from all over all setups. I'm just thinking what happen if you try to install your car with T3 50 Turbonetics Turbocharger 250-270HP.

So here we go again.

A new 2 liters in the assembly with some potent 46/40 heads.
Flowed at JPM to be good for at least 200 hp.
Now with the small volume it will need a good + 8000 plus to do that but I will limit it at max 8000 rpm with the 86C, small exhaust and steel valves. 185-190 is posisbl with some skills.
Currently the setup is:

71 stroke
94 bore
JPM Oteva 75 springs and retainers
46/40 stainless valves
JM7 bronze seats
DRD H profile rods and ARP 2000 bolts
Turbo Thomas exhaust 1 5/8"
Web cam 86C on 110 LC
Ceramic lifters
CB ported and blueprinted dry sump pump
Pegasus oil tank
Raby 200 mm conversion flywheel with Kennedy stage 2
Home made inlet manifiolds low profile. (Cast in Pakistan, machined/ported by SOB (RIP), the further match ported and welded by JPM)
Weber 51,3 mm
Mallory distributor and Hyfire CD

I love it!
Things are coming together.
Now I also trying to get a UK company to build me a billet lightweight 228 TIV flywheel.
They have said yes so far. I am sending them an original for them to re-engineer. Nice if it comes out good. Good for many others too, I think.

Raceware through block bolts and head studs with 12 point nuts and HD washers.

Thanks Randy Hubbard for quick and professional service.

...and this is the solution I am using for muffler. A Flowmaster 50 and then a final CF extra straight flow at the end of the exhaust.

and now I ahve ported the pump, the AN 10 and 12 inlet outlet nipples.
Plugged the pressure side and adapted a CSP pressure relief lid.

Not anything advanced but brings a half OK pump to a pretty good working level.
I have tried this before.

It si mix of before and after pictures

Nice work!

I had to go quite a bit further, but I was trying to clear 914 motor mounts. (even modified the L one to clear the pressure stage inlet tube)
I drilled out the scavenge stage to std block exit and tapped off on an adaptor at the std oil filter location.
I also plugged the through-pump via and unused ports, also had to saw off the std ports "ears" for mount clearance and plug deeper.
(so basically I have 2 "flow through" stages, without the pump-side port for the scavenge stage or the "maze of tiny passages" pressure output route)

In retrospect it would have bee a LOT easier to redesign the motor mounts

It's very good to hear you have had luck with this setup, I'll hopefully be using mine shortly.
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Hi Fiatdude,
Have not been on this thread since you posted your question.
Yes I am spending a lot of time in Panama but moving around in Central and South America and the Carribean. Trinidad tomorrow.
Now do spend some time in Sweden too. In one or two years, I am probably back there.
